Welcome to the Department of Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management at The University of Mississippi! The department seeks to promote health and well being by the expansion of and dissemination of knowledge through the development of health related professionals. Our vision is to produce graduates who have the breadth and depth of knowledge to be successful, life-long learners and productive stewards in our discipline. Our department offers you a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, and our courses span the realm of the allied health field. Our faculty consists of teacher scholars with national and international reputations who have published widely in their fields and are dedicated to progressive development of our students.
