Application Materials Needed for HESRM graduate programs

Official Transcripts

A cumulative grade-point average (last 60 hours) of 3.0 for admission into the Master’s program is recommended and a graduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 for admission into the Doctoral program is recommended.

GRE scores

All three sections must be taken (Verbal, Quantitative and Writing) and scores of not less than 146 on the verbal and 140 on the quantitative divisions are recommended for admission at the Master’s level; scores of not less than 153 on the verbal and 144 on the quantitative divisions are recommended for admission at the Doctoral level.

Statement of Career Goals

Applicants must submit (via the online application) a 1-2 page, single-spaced statement of career goals, objectives, motivation, and readiness to pursue graduate study.

Faculty Mentor

In addition to review by the Graduate Studies Committee, a graduate faculty member must agree to serve as the doctoral applicant’s mentor and/or dissertation director.
