Lance Duvall Endowment Scholarship

Criteria: Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Parks and Recreation major. currently enrolled at the University of Mississippi, who demonstrates leadership qualities, academic excellence, and the desire to pursue a career in the field of Recreation Administration.,  Must be currently enrolled full-time (12 hours undergraduate, 9 hours graduate credits and a 2.50 GPA at time of application. Financial need and involvement in departmental programs and activities are considerations.
Amount: up to  two (2) $500 awarded after April each year

Harvey Faust Freshman Scholarship—
for Recreation Administration majors

Criteria: Recipients will be full-time students pursuing a degree in the Sport and Recreation Administration degree programs. The student selected for the scholarship should have completed the majority of coursework in sport and recreation administration, maintain an overall GPA of 3.0, be a member of a national association dedicated to the sport and recreation profession that supports professional certification/licensure, submit a formal application packet including letters of reference and/or portfolio, and demonstrate through active participation in continuing/extramural education units a dedication to the sport and recreation vocation.  SRA students may apply during the student’s last fall/spring of enrollment at the University of Mississippi.
Amount: Up to the cost of the professional examination, not to exceed $250.00
